    Asamah Kadiri SAN is a Partner and heads the Firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group.

    He is an astute general Civil and Commercial Litigation practitioner with experience spanning over 2 decades. He has been ranked by Chambers Global and Legal 500 as a leading Corporate/Commercial Litigation/Dispute Resolution Lawyer in Nigeria. He is also a practicing Arbitrator and Mediator. His experience cuts across prosecuting and defending cases in State and Federal Courts, Appellate Courts, Tribunals and Commissions of Inquiry, as well as, Institutional, Domestic and International Arbitration Tribunals. He has extensive experience in managing complex, multifaceted disputes involving several parties and claims. He is also an astute negotiator and very experienced in utilizing the ADR techniques of Negotiation and Mediation in resolving commercial disputes involving clients, to minimize the risks and cost of litigation. He is a Capital Market consultant accredited by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). He is also a national Prosecutor of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA); and a co-opted member of the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the Nigerian Bar Association.

    Prior to joining Jackson, Etti & Edu in 1999, Asamah had worked in the Legal Department of Shell Petroleum Development Company in 1995, and Law Firm of Femi Okunnu & Co. (a leading first generation commercial litigation law firm) from 1995 to 1999.
